Haha, this is gonna be HARD for me cause I LOVE this album... It's a draw between the following three, cause honestly they are such different songs that I just can't pit them against eachother.
The Walk. I just find the lyrics to it quite genius... and the piano is just perfect for it.
And Fire on the Mountain. (This isn't the best quality clip but I wanted one where Zac was on guitar so I couldn't use 5 of 5 one - sorry but it's weird to me to see FOTM live without Zac playing guitar for it... and I may also like the fact that Tay plays drums in this clip cause he's cute and bouncy when he does... ^^)
And Great Divide. Seriously, I love the arrangement of Great Divide and every time I listen to it I just feel... empowered.
But seriously I love every single song on this album. I think it's the only Hanson album where I always just stick it on right through and never really skip any of it. It's so well produced and the songs are all gorgeous.
Some other things about The Walk...
The opening lines of Your Illusion always gives me chills, and reminds me so much of a friend of mine.
I always sing along to the chorus of Watch Over Me. I really, seriously, can't help it.
And I always dance to Tearing it Down. Even when I'm sitting down. :P (I also seriously DIG the music in this and hope they will do more stuff that's a little edgier in the future! That guitar is fucking SEXY) Acttually, I'm not sure why I didn't list this earlier now... I guess this is no particular order!
I love the lyrics for In A Way. I find them quite intriguing...
I know this is from the EP but I feel like I could never talk about The Walk without mentioning Lay Me Down. Because I love this song and it still makes me go all teary eyed every time I hear it.
And I'm sorry but, I will forever feel like Go and Georgia are such Zaylor songs... (yes I understand what Georgia is REALLY about... ><)
