You create the coolest montages - great sense of clips and pacing/editing choices. They're never boring. And of course, should go without saying that I love that you used the "Guitar Mix" (aka "Desmond Child Mix" on some singles) of "Weird".

You know one thing I noticed? Check out Zac's glances of pure admiration at Tay from 2:07 to 2:12. I'm not even saying it's Zaylory, just in the most innocent sense of unclouded little brother-to-big-brother admiration! Really cute!

Why thank you! I'm actually really enjoying making these videos... I spent some time in my younger years concidering some kinda movie making career actualy, like producing or editing or something.

I find the glancing quite Zaylory but if nothing else, it is most definitely admiration. (Zac's smile at around 6.21 makes me MELT, I swear.) And Zac is completely cute there (can't help but notice the missing tooth!). I think he went through a short phase here where he was a slight bit effimate. Not as much as Taylor is/was but more than Zac is at any other age.

But yeah, I have quite a few clips of them around this age where they seem really close... it makes me wonder, considering Zac's age at the time I guess "exploring" would have been possible around then...

Thanks, I had not seen this since the fuzzy VHS copied-too-many-generations compilation ("tape trade!") days, actually! It's been years, mostly forgot it all, haha.

Yeah, Zac's long, long, long admiring (at the very least!) glances. Like 2:17-2:31, holy smokes, that almost made *me* uncomfortable - not in the anti-Zaylor way, but in the "Okay, you can stop the staring contest now, his eyes are cutting right through me" way, heh. I don't know how Tay puts up with it sometimes. Oh wait, who am I kidding, he freakin' LOVES it!

I know what you mean about a wee bit effeminate. Taylor's just...Taylor, it's a given, but Zac was the rough-n-tumble kid, the sometimes-moody and serious teen and transitioned into the beefier, stocky (almost "frat boy" at times) guy. I seem to remember a biology topic about how guys around that age are still getting the hormone levels introduced and sometimes it can be a big shot of estrogen first until the testosterone comes in later and balances shit all out, so it's not unusual for guys to have a period of this kinda vibe. But most don't have to grow up in front of worldwide fans I suppose. Good on Zac for handling it pretty gracefully!

Haha, 3:00-3:07, Ike is like "Uh...that's great. Uh okay. Just smile and nod. Who *is* this fan?" But, the fan seems like a pretty cool guy actually, not at all the level of derangement you sometimes might expect!

Yeah, Zac's smile near 6:21! I like how he's all "...hypnotize people through the TV or something", and Tay's just rambling away, and he incorporates that in, "You could try to do that..." and keeps going. Gosh, the dynamic between them was/is so much fun and hilarity, heh.

By the way I like Zac's outfit. He wasn't usually dressed like that (before or since). Kind of a cool combination with the color and slightly oversized jacket look thing with the black for contrast. Very rock-star-doing-backstage-interview, actually (wouldn't be out of place on a Bono or Steven Tyler, seriously), so it fits the circumstance nicely. :) I totally missed my life's calling as "wardrobe consultant to the stars". ;)

But yeah I really think this is one of the earliest videos where I really get some weird Zaylor vibes from. Like... Zac is just really gazing at Tay for almost the whole thing?! I don't know if it's because he's a bit uncomfortable and just seeking reassurance from Tay or what it is but SERIOUSLY he looks like a schoolgirl with their crush. Especially with the little smiles and giggles some of the times Taylor acknowledges him lol.

It's cute, but kind of odd all the same lol.

The rational part of my brain is sort of with you on the "reassurance" thing. Maybe Zac was a little freaked by the (gay?) male fan (not that the guy didn't seem like such a sweetheart - but just the concept of him being a fan amongst their core demographic at the time (or since) ), and him focusing in on Tay was just a coping mechanism, reminding himself big bro was there.

But the rest of me is just like "What the...?!". Even if they were "trained" by Mercury reps, publicists, etc. about how to act and what to say in interviews, when you watch other interviews with bands where they're on camera, the other members might look at someone, then a few seconds later look down at their hands, fold their hands together, take a drink, pick lint off a pantleg, look the other direction at a distraction, look at the cameraman/interviewer, WHATEVER else but gaze directly at who's speaking. Even groups made up of siblings who are that young don't do this level of staring - Jonas Bros. are one example of the above actions they'll do, because who wants to gaze at a brother that long? lol. Well clearly, Zac, and c'mon, it's *Tay* being stared at, if I were in his presence I probably couldn't stop staring either, especially for his gorgeousness at that age, but...it's a bit much, heh.

Our pseudo/pop culture/Dr. Phil/Dr. Laura-inspired psychoanalysis is fascinating, lol. :) I'd love to show clips like this to Zac today and be all "What *were* you thinking?"

Heh! You also have perfect linkage/embeddage in reply, ready to go for any situation! How do you keep such a good mental catalog? Well, either that or you use lots of browser "tags" to help you index so quickly.

That first clip is the stuff of legend (at least over here on my end, uh, HEL-LO!), but I don't recall that second one. And yeah, it's still there, and still a bit freaky, but damn if these clips and ESPECIALLY that second one don't inspire the slash-writer in me. If I'm ever feeling a lull I just need to look at those gazes for more inspiration, heh. (And see, Ike is doing the "normal" thing; he's looking at him while he's talking, of course, but his eyes/head move around, he changes focus, etc.) Maybe Zac's just high?

Haha, I am putting together a Zaylor video set to 'Hungry Eyes' atm, so admittedly I have been looking at most of those videos lately.

And OH YEAH those clips inspire my slash writer too. Lol someone did suggest to me that in the second clip the reason Zac is squirming and looking adoringly at Tay is that Tay has the remote to the vibrating panties Zac is wearing... ;)

And Zac is most definitely high as a kite. High on Taylor luuurrrvvvvveeee. *giggle*
