I had completely forgotten :O about Snowflake Challenge until seyren reminded me a couple of days ago and then I have been low in the time/spoons departments but today felt like a good day to jump in! I'll be going back to catch up on the past week some day when I have a little more energy (it's funny how little I slept before motherhood, and how much I want to sleep now that someone else is keeping me awake... :P).

Hi! It's Margcellent & I'm so glad I saw your Tweet about this post. It gives me the chance to tell you how incredibly awesome I think you are & what a great job you are doing with your beautiful boy! Being a Mom is the hardest thing I've ever done & when I see a woman like yourself taking on the responsibilities of a single parent, I am humbled by your strength, commitment & loving spirit. Even w/ a partner in the parenting trenches, it is an often thankless & exhausting job. That you took it on alone & are doing it so well, leaves me in awe. (Accept the compliment, bb. I'm not under the impression you are perfect or don't make mistakes. Been there done that. Moms are human, too. lol) I love that you share with us those precious Mom moments that only another Mom can really appreciate. Seeing T's smile - whether from pride that he got up on a surface he shouldn't be on or while happily playing with a toy - it is obvious that he is a happy much loved child. Kudos Mom. You are doing great.

But your Mad Mom skills are not all that I love about you. I also love sharing fan girl moments with you & when I do get on-line, seeing your pics - whether the pretty boys in bands kind or the more #NSFW kind - is a highlight of my feed. I also enjoy our discussions about social & political issues as well as the riveting fandom discussions that take place among the various peeps we both follow. You are generous in sharing what you know & so, so funny when you fall down the new fandom *cough* 1D *cough* black hole. ;D

I'm glad for the chance to know you & look forward to the day we can share a real life hug instead of the cyber-hugs we share now.
