Snowflake Challenge: Day 5 & 6

armanyaDay 5: Stretch yourself a little and try something new.
This was a little difficult for me because I'm generally quite open to new fandom experiences. I tend to flutter around a lot looking for new things that catch my attention...
But then I realized, I have never actually run any challenges outside of small comms that I have modded. So, I'm running a Multi-Fandom Aftercare Fest and counting that. Hoping it will have some participation. :)
Day 6: In your own space, pimp three comms or challenges and explain why you love them.
Because I know a lot of people who have recently migrated over to DW, and I would like to see DW comms become more active, I am going to list only DW comms (or mirrors).

fandomcalendar - Just in case there happens to be anyone reading that did not know about this comm, this is a great place to find out about fandom challenges and other events. Because I flutter between fandoms a lot and now have limited time for catching up, I'd probably miss a lot of fun stuff without this!
bestthingever - Because when you'll check out works in any fandom as long as they're great, it's awesome to have a place where people tell you about great things in different fandoms.
glam_100 - Adam Lambert fandom drabble challenge comm. I love drabbles, both creating and reading them, so this is like the perfect comm for me. I haven't had time to participate near enough this year, but I love reading other people's work. I'm constantly amazed by the stories people can tell in a few hundred words.
Honourable mentions (aka this was too difficult so I'm cheating):
bandom_meme - I run into a lot of people that don't even know there is a bandom prompt meme, so thought I'd mention this. :)
fancake - Again, recs are great.
kink_bingo - Self-explanatory?
