Haha, I was just thinking about "Sling, Bang Boom" the other day, actually! I was thinking back to old Hanson footage and what was some of the oldest out there. (The song itself is far too dorkily catchy; it sticks in your head for days - unfortunately.)

I must say I always absolutely loved the composition of that opening shot of Taylor coming over the hill with the sun twinkling and lens-flaring and the look of the sky and hill, just the colors and sizes in relation to each other. I still have the commercial VHS video from Carman in my closet somewhere that it's contained on!

I also remembered long ago reading an interview with the video's director, Cory Edwards. I found it again. Check it out here. Really a fun read!

And this classic one. No matter how many times I've seen it, the fact that Zac has to stop during the middle of a performance to pick up toddler Mackie and carry him across the stage to deposit him at the side makes me laugh so hard - so amateur, spontaneous and so cute:

Haha, yeah I've noticed that. I think that moment at the start is in a Zaylor video somewhere (not mine).

I guess it's for cues and/or reassurance.

I like that interpretation! Actually it's so sweet to see him look up at Taylor like the sun rises and sets by him. :)

But yeah, I always got the sense from the video that Zac wasn't very comfortable with the dance moves or hadn't memorized them to the extent of the others, so I thought he was keeping an eye on him for the cues. Baby Zaylor/puppy-love is so cute a concept, though! <3

Such a good way to put it, so true, and so amazingly cute indeed! I love the dynamic they have always had, with Zac looking up to Tay and Tay always looking out for him. They always have been so adorable together.

Zaylor puppy love is something I really like... purely innocent, non sexual but slightly over the top adoration. I just find the idea really cute that there's sort of always been this bond (or just love) between them that blurs the lines a small bit. As I'm sure is apparent in some of my stories haha.

Oh, I never realized that Blue Yonder Films are the people that worked with them on the TBS video too! I'm probably the last person to realize that but that's so cool haha.

I did know Zac was in the audience though. He's a little cutie. <3

What about Zac? He is in the crowd wearing a bright blue shirt and drinking Sprite. In slow motion you can see that the Z-man is just as full of zest and enthusiasm as you've come to know him to be ~ jumping up and down, pumping the air, shouting, etc. ;-D I forgot to mention that all of the boys have the same, very blond, just above the ears, almost one-length hair cut.
